Purdue University's IN-MaC is dedicated to equipping students and the future workforce with Industry 4.0 skills. IN-MaC focuses on preparing students with skills for advanced manufacturing facilities and offering expertise in areas such as 3D printing, robotics, computer science, and other relevant STEM disciplines. The IN-MaC Design and Innovation Studio gives students earlier access to:

Providing early access to STEM technologies.

IN-MaC, in collaboration with STEM Education Works, Purdue Engineering, and Purdue Polytechnic, aims to address the lack of accessible STEM and Industry 4.0 technologies for K-6 students. By establishing the Design and Innovation Studio, IN-MaC is able to provide students and educators with early exposure to Industry 4.0 technology and career readiness opportunities. Located in West Lafayette, Indiana, the IN-MaC Design and Innovation Studio is equipped with a variety of STEM technologies, allowing students to learn coding, programming, 3D printing, design, prototyping, and more.
The studio encourages industry education partnerships and allows students to connect classroom experiences with real-world industry settings. STEM Education Works has assisted IN-MaC by providing technology, curriculum, and professional development support, aiding in the successful implementation of the Design and Innovation Studios. Through this ongoing support and educator training, STEM Education Works has helped IN-MaC develop a space for students to foster positive and exciting STEM experiences.
