The BBC micro:bit v2 has the ability to be coded from any browser and can be paired with any of our ELECFREAKS kits. Our micro:bit kits offer more options than ever for teaching students to code. From creating a name badge to programming an alarm, these micro:bit kits offer plenty of activities for students of all ages, ranging from easy to difficult. Whether you connect them to your computer or power them with batteries (sold separately), there are endless possibilities for student creativity and exploration.

It can be coded from any web browser in MakeCode, C++, Python, and Scratch. Not only that, but it works interconnectedly with all the ELECFREAKS kits STEM Education Works is proud to offer. Important: The micro:bit v2 does not include any cables or power sources. This is just the board. We recommend picking up a micro:bit AAA battery holder or a micro USB cable as well to power your board.
