The Solar Racer is a great tool to teach the fundamentals of solar energy, power conversion, motors, and real world solar application. Once assembled the Solar Racer moves at a fast pace and provides hours of exciting racing fun.  

The entire project requires no tools to build with components that easily pop together with friction and hold tight. We highly recommend having your students decorate their Racers for extra fun. Washable Markers, Sharpies, or craft paint work wonderfully and allow for a wide range of decorating options.
