Students will work in teams to create a model of a recently discovered chain of volcanoes in Australia (an example of volcanism away from plate boundaries). They will then create a model of a typical volcano formation. These models will be compared and contrasted, then used to explain how plate movement has changed the landscape of Earth’s surface in this area.
