AxiaTP, the Zionsville Chamber of Commerce, and the Zionsville RISE Foundation have partnered to bring a STEM education workshop and competition to youth around the Zionsville area. Using the “Build Smart Challenge” curriculum from STEM Education Works, AxiaTP aims to bring STEM opportunities to kids and encourage them to consider STEM career paths. The workshops include training and mentoring sessions as students build their karts. In June, students can participate in a presentation and a race with the karts they’ve built.
STEM Education Works’s “Build Smart Challenge” is designed to inspire young students to explore STEM through the building, programming, and racing of the karts they create with the curriculum.
