Our curriculum focuses not only on technologies and subject areas, but also on soft skills that are so important in today’s global environment. Collaboration, team building, social-emotional learning, perseverance, and critical thinking are themes that run throughout our units. Every lesson includes hands-on activities that let students experiment and learn in ways that meet their individual needs. Each book is standards-aligned and designed with flexibility in mind. Divided into beginner, intermediate, and advanced, the lessons can be adapted to students’ level of experience with and knowledge of the technology. Our micro:bit curriculum meets your students right where they are. Interdisciplinary and cross-curricular, our lessons take coding to the next level using the MakeCode website, virtual micro:bit, and the micro:bit V1 or V2. Each lesson focuses on hands-on, project-based learning and implements SEL skills such as collaboration, reflection, and critical thinking.
